Ranger 208VX Brings the 225-horsepower Platform Up a Notch
A 20-foot, 225-horsepower boat has long been accustomed to being the go to boat for a day out of the lake for bass fishing.
The new Ranger 208VX has brought value and unmatched performance to this category. It boasts stylish consoles, aluminum trim, an ultra-competitive hull design and most importantly an aggressive price point.
"For most anglers, fishing is a passion, something they do to reward themselves for a week of hard work. And when it's time to take part in their passion, they want to have the best equipment and get the most enjoyment out of the day," said Ranger Boats President, Randy Hopper. "With the 208VX, we've given these anglers all the performance, space and features they need to make the most of a day on the water and packaged it together at an incredible value."
This boat has the capability to get anglers where they need to be, when they need to be there with 225 horsepower and a pair of 26-gallon fuel tanks. The 208VX measures 20 feet, 9 inches with a 92 ½-inch beam providing a smooth ride even in the roughest of waters.
Ranger owners have grown used to the stability and comfort provided by the company and the 208VX is no exception with rod lockers, single or dual-console availibilty, up to date electronics at the bow, and a 24-volt Minn Kota trolling motor. The spacious vessel is carpeted throughout providing added comfort.
Like many other Ranger boats the 208 VX comes paired with its own custom-built RangerTrail® trailer.
